Happy Tails owner, Lisa Olivo started Happy Tails in 2001, we are celebrating seven years of competent, reliable and trustworthy pet sitting. We have expanded our service area and found more wonderful pet sitters to care for your furry or not so furry loved ones. We started the business because there was a need for an alternative care plan other than boarding your pets. It is very stressful for them to be cared for in a strange and foreign environment. Lisa attended “A Pet’s World Academy” to earn her degree of professional pet sitter. We make sure all of the pet sitters are Pet First Aid certified by the American Red Cross. All of us have many years experience in living with, loving and caring for pets of all kinds. Happy Tails is a professionally run company. All of our pet sitters enjoy spending time with their pet clients and are covered under our Liability Insurance and Bond. You can rest assured that your home and pets are in very capable hands. We all share an enduring love for animals of all kinds. We come from different backgrounds but have that common thread that brings us and our clients together. We always try to keep your pet sitter consistent so that your sitter and your pets will form a bond and always be happy to see each other whenever you need us. Happy Tails is run by longtime Santa Cruz Mountain resident Lisa Olivo. Having recently taken retirement almost ten years early from her lengthy career at the phone company, Lisa is now free to persue her love of animals. As the owner and operator of Happy Tails, Lisa is a graduate of A Pet's World Academy, and is certified by the American Red Cross in pet first aid and CPR. Happy Tails is member of Pet Sitters International (PSI) and is licensed, bonded and insuredby their policy for the care of your home and pets. Additionally, Happy Tails is a member of the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce. Lisa has an enduring love for animlas of all kinds and truly cares about your pets!
