Q. Do my dogs need to be vaccinated in order to utilize your services?
A. While we do feel you should always vaccinate your pets, we only require copies of your records prior to starting attendance to Camp Happy Tails.
Q. Do you board pets?
A. No, we feel that pet sitting in your home is the best solution; however we do make some exceptions for special circumstances.
Q. Do you provide training?
A. No, however we are always willing to help our client’s trouble shoot problematic behaviors displayed by their pets.
Q. What happens if you lose my key?
A. We are covered under our liability insurance for this circumstance. We also have an identification process for client keys which alleviates the need for our clients name or address to be associated with the key.
Q. What happens if you lock yourself out of our home?
A. Pet Sitters are very aware of this possibility and we constantly emphasize reinforcement how to prevent this from happening. If needed will contact a locksmith to gain access to your home and pets at our expense.
Q. Do you provide overnight pet sitting in our home?
A. Yes we are happy to stay over night with your pets. We commit to stay for a minimum of 12 hours in your home from evening to morning and sometimes longer just depending on your pet sitter’s individual schedule. While providing overnight service we can incorporate a mid day visit at a reduced price for your pets comfort if needed.
Q. What happens if my dog barks and growls at you when you arrive at my home to start pet sitting?
A. We always conduct an orientation visit prior to starting service. We like to be able to meet your dogs and let them get our scent prior to arriving to start our care assignment. If your dog barks and is fearful and nervous, we will be patient and wait for them to initiate interaction with us. The pet sitter's have experience on how to handle this situation. We do not provide service to households with aggressive dogs. Our goal is to provide loving care to pets that need us.
